Hi fellows, I just bought a 16" Wuhan S crash, and all I can say is I'm impressed!

It sounds very close to a Sabian O-zone crash but with more body and a little rise in the medium frequencies, and has a very interesting complex dark decay. I think is a very nice alternative to a "mainstream" effect (you know, like those of the big three), and considering that it cost me about 1/3 of what I'd have paid for an o-zone crash or similar effect, I'm just obligated to give thumbs up to Wuhan cymbals! I also tested a 16" chinese that sounded very appealing to me but it will have to wait until the next opportunity.

Good drumming.

My other drumset is a Steinway.

yep. I've definitely heard many Wuhans that I liked. My favorite, to date, is their 27" China. That's cool cymbal if you can find a reaallly thin one. The sound and feel are indescribable! The price on it was ridiculously low. The big drawback is that it's BIG! That's why I didn't buy it at the time....but I regret that decision now.

hi.

Vintage Drum has a great selection but I haven't seen them at any local store yet to try them. All I've seen were 12" chinas. The prices are great. Of course there's a great selection on eBay also.

Damn. I just checked back at a place, and Wuhans are going for 4x as much as they were 6 months ago.
