But remember the fact that reeds are plants and not one grows the same and produces the exact same tone. I am not a professional and I'm still trying to get an ear for a good tone but every reed will vary.( ;) If the reed comes pre-packaged as used then that would be a rip-off haha.) In my experiences I have had quite a few "bad" reeds that are somewhat hard to get a good tone from. What do you expect out of almost 8 years on clarinet :P .
