Concerning Rico Select Jazz ... for a round chamber mpc such a Vandoren V5 A28, is the filed cut is better over the unfiled cut ?

I would recommend a filed reed for the round chambered mouthpiece.  It will add a little bit of brilliance to the sound due to the file.  I hope that this helps.
