I play a Gibson CE sometimes and I just recently had it re-strung with EJ31 strings.  I am totally buzzed with how great they sound.  I don't do my own work on that guitar, I haven't quite gotten the wrap technique down yet to make them stay taunt.  But, I just wanted to pay tribute to the wonderful quality of these strings.  That may sound trite in this world of stellar perfectionists, the music world, but, just the fact that they are "Made in America" needs to be celebrated.  I also took time to view the "How it's made"  video in the home site.  I learned something there.  So, Thanks to D'addario for continuing to be faithful to America and injecting true economic stimulus into "our" economy instead of the Chinese economy.  On a philosophical note, many of us here in this country realize the true importance of the arts to a culture.  I have been playing music most all my life, and I am 56 now.  I shutter to think what our lives would be like without the diversion of music.  I do question the direction the music community takes sometimes but, we must still maintain our acceptance and appreciation of those dedicated and fearless people that carry on the legacy of great muscianship.  Viva la musica !!!
